Caged Bird Theatre is an award-winning theatre company founded by Jasper Frost and Patrick Swain while at University of Exeter.
The two first collaborated on Swain’s play ‘Michael’, which received outstanding reviews.
Jasper Frost - Artistic Director
Jasper is a theatre director and writer.
Before training in Theatre Directing at Mountview, he graduated with a BA (Hons) in English and Drama from the University of Exeter.

Patrick Swain - Literary Manager
Patrick is a dramaturg and writer.
He graduated with a BA (Hons) in Drama from the University of Exeter, and is currently a member of the National Theatre’s Young Writers programme.
He will begin studying on the MFA Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama this October.
